Since 1978 right after first Panchayet Election, Digambarpur Gram Panchayet is moving ahead in developing social and economical development of the people.
This is a model Gram Panchayet spreading across approximately 495 square kilometers that include 8 Mouza, where Hindus, Muslims Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes live together in 6214 families with a total population of 34077. It is surrounded by Mridangabhanga and Gobdia rivers in the east and west respectively. The Panchayet is successfully implementing the following activities.
